Report from Col. Green at the 103rd re-dedication of the Peace Monument held on Oct. 9th at Piedmont Park.
We did a furling of the Confederate Flag ceremony during the re-dedication of the Peace Monument.
Our speaker was one of our own, CPT. Brent Griffin who gave an outstanding talk. Attendants included members of the Gate City Guard and the Ladies of the Old Guard. After the ceremony the Ladies of the Old Guard furnished refreshments for all who attended. The Gods were looking after us, it was raining all around Atlanta except at Piedmont Park.
